Dismissal & Arrival Procedures 2021-22 School Year

Hello Bulldogs!

We have had some amazing first few days of learning! We all are learning curve as we are getting back into the groove of being back fully in person.

We wanted to share the arrival and dismissal procedures with you all.

Drop Off/ Arrivals

All students will arrive & enter the campus from the front of our campus. Our Doors Open at 7:15 AM.

As we are checking students and making sure we have students on rosters, please be patient as we check students into on their first few days in class.

Make sure students wear their Bulldog Lanyards with their name tags each day before they enter the school to help with arrivals.

The tardy bells rings at 7:40 AM and it is when our instructional day begins for all classes PK-5th. Please be sure your students arrives on time to school each day!

Dismissal/ Pick Up:

Dismissal starts at 3:10 PM.

Your student should have brought home a "dismissal card" for you or the person picking up the student needs to bring each day to help our dismissal process run smoother.

If student is in Pre - K , Kinder, or 1st grade, dismissal is from the front of the campus. (see yellow circle in our map)

  • PK, K, 1st grade student car pickups ➡️ go through the front circle (yellow arrows on map)
  • PK, Kinder, or 1st walkers or parent walking pick up ➡️ go through the front door of the school. (orange arrows on map)

PK, Kinder, or 1st grade students all have an assigned *DISMISSAL NUMBERS* number that person picking up the student NEEDS to have with them. This helps the dismissal run smoother. Make sure to provide dismissal number when you arrive!

If Students are in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade dismissal is from the side of the school on LINDA LANE. (by the playground- blue circle on the map)

2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade car pickups ➡️ drive up on Linda Lane & pick up students from the SECOND gate (near the swings- blue dot). A teacher or staff member will be asking for their dismissal card to ease the process and get your students to the car faster.

  • 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade walking students will leave out of the FIRST gate on Linda Lane (see green dot)
  • 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade parents walking pick up will need to follow the arrows and line up by the FIRST gate. (see green dot)

2 teachers will be there asking for the name & grade & teacher of the student. Please have their dismissal cards ready to help ease the process.

If students are registered to ride the bus, please refer to the bus schedule you can find online (https://busstop.austinisd.org/regedpub/default.aspx?load=addressInput&skipPlan=true ) Students need to provide their yellow bus pass in order to get on the bus each day.

We really ask parents to be patient and remember the dismissal cards so we can make our arrival and run smoothly every day. If you have any questions, please let us or your homeroom teacher know or refer to the maps for more details (above).

Thank you all!
